- Asterisk RF Gateway: Derby and Hastings are operational.
- Asterisk PBX: Derby and Hastings operational
In regards to EchoLink Reflectors; KANSAS, WYOMING and ALERTERC arrangements are being made to find a new host (as EchoLink requires a separate public IP address for each node that connects to them). The reflectors have been rather “low volume” usage wise, yet always ready for emergencies and general use. At times there have been discussions about doing away with the EchoLink Reflectors completely. If you feel that the resources are needed please let us know via InfoQuest
Technology Homestead
Technology Homestead is a funding project that supports ALERTradio ERC with technology resource development funding. We need your support so that we can continue to do research and development of technology resources that is beneficial to emergency response and communications.
ALERTradio ERC receives no government funding for any of its technology resources nor for the infrastructure that is needed to maintain these resources. We are able to keep operational cost low through the availability of space on the farm and elsewhere, yet there are still expenses that need to be taken care of and necessary components need to be purchased in order to develop new technology and then train operators in its use.

We hope that we can count on your support.
Thank You
ALERTradio ERC
Hello! Been doing some significant changes to the majority of the web sites. Should prove to be easier to manage and find some new ways for getting information where it is needed most. Going to be some exciting news shortly about some new services that will be available. One is already operational in regards to the “Newsreader” check ALERTradio ERC | Forum for details.
Gearup and Support ALERTradio ERC
Being a technology driven group ALERTradio ERC strives to work with the latest technology innovation as well maintain a truly effective network of resources. To do this ALERTradio ERC needs your support so we can obtain the infrastructure and upstream technology resources that we need (such as the Internet, Telephone services, Insurance, Hosted Network Services, etc.)
There are a few that have helped in the past, but the funds are indeed extremely thin. There’s some consulting working being done yet there many that think the information should just be given away. It would be indeed nice if all the necessities could be obtained for free. Unfortunately we know this is not the case in a modern society.
To help fund ALERTradio ERC the GearUp pages have been created with emergency response gear, mobile transceivers, portable transceivers and repeaters presently being listed. Please take a look around and consider gearing up and supporting ALERTradio ERC. Thank You.
Changes in the making.
It has been quite some time since the last major change to the ALERTradio ERC main web site. About time to make the changes that should be a major improvement in the long run. Definitely will bring some additional flexibility that is needed.
May notice a few hiccups along the way, let us know when you see something that needs to be checked.
